IS COUNSELLING FOR YOU?
My work is motivated by my belief that counselling and therapy can help us to fulfill our potential as well as to support us through crises. You may be struggling with particular issues or simply wish to question the way you live your life. A very wide range of reasons brings people to therapy:
abuse
bereavement
depression
illness and pain
relational problems
trauma
unexplained physical symptoms
unmanageable stress
work/employment problems
It doesn't matter whether your problem is on this list. Whatever brings you, I offer a safe, therapeutic space in which issues can be explored.
HOW TO START
The decision to start therapy can be quite daunting. You can contact me by phone or email and I will respond to your message as soon as I am able. We will then arrange an initial consultation. This will enable us to decide together whether you could benefit from therapy with me. If we decide to continue I will offer you one to three sessions per week. These take place at the same time every week and in the event that I have to cancel a session I will do my best to find an alternative time for you. I offer open-ended therapy short and long-term. Daytime or evening appointments available.
I am committed to confidentiality within the ethical frameworks of BACP and UKCP. Your welfare is my absolute priority.
